Industrial and Technology Park Cooperation Programme

The COPIT project began in 2010 when a Collaboration Agreement was signed between the Ministry of Industrial, Tourism and Trade, the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE), the Spanish Business Estate Coordinating Council (CEPE), the School of Industrial Organisation (EOI) and the National Innovation Enterprise (ENISA).

The aim of the project is to improve competitiveness and encourage business development of companies based at industrial and technology parks, through cooperation activities between the two.

The cooperation is established through Business Cooperation Network, a platform where companies located in the industrial and technology parks can post offers and requests for collaboration that will be seen by more than 4,000 companies inside and outside the parks.

Business Encounters

Álava, Bizkaia and San Sebastian Technology Parks are taking part in the Industrial and Technology Park Cooperation programme COPIT, in close collaboration with the Torrelarragoiti Business Association and the Merindad de Estella Association of Enterprises (Laseme). Two business encounters have been organised within the framework of the COPIT project.

The first was held on October 28 at the headquarters of the Torrelarragoti Business Association, with the participation of the three Basque technology parks, the Torrelarragoti Business Association and companies based at this industrial estate, the Tecnalia Corporation and the IK4 Alliance.

The second business encounter was held on November 23 in Estella with participation from the three Basque technology parks, the Merindad de Estella Association of Enterprises (Laseme) and companies from the area, the Tecnalia Corporation and the IK4 Alliance.
