Tenth International APTE Conference to be held

On 17, 18 and 19 October the 10th International Conference of the Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE) will be held in the Alava Technology Park, who’s organizing the conference jointly with the Basque Country Network of Technology Parks, under the slogan "Economy and sustainability: the Science and Technology park model".

The Conference aims to be a bet of Science and Technology Parks to boost sustainable economy. Sustainable development is intimately linked with the green development, with enviromental sustainability. Vitoria-Gasteiz is an example of good enviromental practices in the world. The result of this work has been the appointment of the city as European Green Capital 2012, some of whose achievements will be seen over the three days of the Conference.

In addition to the Conference, on 16 and 17 October will be held the IASP - Internacional Association of Science Parks workshop: “Green Opportunities and Challenges for Science and Technology Parks”
